School Improvement Through School Quality Review

Resistance to reform is innate. The education sector is no exception to this dictum. Reform is easier to achieve when it is bottom upwards and participative. Hence, our School Quality Reviews are aimed at challenging stakeholders and inculcating and sustaining accountability to improve learning outcomes. Taking into consideration the local context, we employ an astute blend of local capacity building, strong client partnerships, community participation, evidence based research and proven inspection methodologies to achieve school improvement and reforms. We work not only in the formal educational set up but also evaluate alternative educational programmes in India. We have a proven track record of our expertise in:

  • Developing frameworks and building capacity of inspectors to inspect schools in partnership with Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted)- United Kingdom, Dubai Schools Inspections Bureau (DSIB), Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) and Ministry of Education (MOE)- Northern Emirates
  • Project Management of large scale School Quality Assessment and Improvement for the Departments of Education (DoEs) of various state governments and NGOs

Our expertise is evidenced by the fact that we are one of the agencies authorised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to accredit schools affiliated to it.

Objectives Achieved in the Aforementioned Areas of Work Include

  • enabling parents to make more informed choices
  • establishing the link between external inspection and internal organisational self-review
  • rendering assistance towards remedial action
  • facilitating institutions to plan, implement, monitor assessment plans, analyse and evaluate assessment reports
